The JB Early cabin is our most secluded and authentic of our cabins. Except for the guilty pleasures of power, a fridge and coffee maker, this is an experience that feels like living in the bush. Named after JB Early, a pioneer who moved to the Shaftesbury trail in 1922 and developed a farm and gardens of reknown in the area. Leave civilization behind and experience a true escape into the past, lighting a fire for heat and trekking to the outhouse when nature calls.

The St Germain and Jackson cabins are both full service cabins. Both Feature: Spectacular river bank location. Free access to hiking trails and river launching (non-motorized only).

The St Germain cabin is named after the St. Germain family. They are part of the aboriginal heritage of the Peace River and Shaftesbury areas, having lived and farmed there. Charles St. Germain built log buildings including the church at Dunvegan crossing. The Jackson cottage / cabin honors Peace Country pioneers, Frank Jackson and Dr. Mary Percy Jackson.
